Welcome to the Azoris Faial Garden

The original building of the Azoris Faial Garden represents a historical landmark in the region and in the world. It was here that submarine cable communications between Europe and America began, making Horta one of the largest communications centers, and bringing American, English and German companies to the island that greatly influenced the social and cultural life of this city. This hotel was a building of the American company Western Union Telegraph, also functioning as a residence for its employees.
