The floor of the Zen Garden at the Azoris Royal Garden was intentionally built with basaltic stone, not only because it is a typically Azorean stone, but also because it is known for stabilizing emotions and releasing tensions. No wonder it is also used by our Lotus Spa, in the highly requested hot and cold stone massage.
